I just finished writing four handwritten Thank You! notes. One for each of the podcasters I’ve worked with over the past few days.
Yes! I still like to grab a pen and write something appropriate when the situation warrants it. In fact, I say Thank You! as often as I can. As far as I’m concerned, you can’t say it often enough as long as you really mean it!
When I was at the shop, I tried to make sure that a note went out to everyone who visited the shop every time they trusted us with one of their vehicles. People have choices, especially in a market as competitive as automotive service, and the fact they chose us was significant enough to warrant a Thank You!
I Say Thank You…
I say Thank You! to every First Responder I encounter. And, to every member of our Armed Forces. They give so much — expecting so little in return — simply thanking them for their service seems like the least any of us can do. And, yes, I thank everyone at the City of Hope for making the rest of my life possible.
I send Thank You! notes because I know just how good it feels to receive them! In fact, I just received one from one of my podcast hosts this afternoon reminding me that one of the best ways to say thank you is by subscribing to a podcast, downloading it, listening to it, rating it and then reviewing it!
