Heads Up…

This is one of those ‘catch up’ posts. A chance to explain where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to. Especially, when what I’ve been up to has prevented me from being here with you. So, here we go… And, not necessarily in order!

On Thursday, May 28, 2020, the interview I did with Janeane Bernstein on her new show Outside the Box (I think I may have referred to the show as Out of the Box on the video) will go live here. I’ve interviewed with Janeane twice. First, on Get the Funk Out, and, now, here at Outside the Box.

Next! The cover art for the audiobook is complete, submitted, and accepted by ACX, the publishing arm of Audible and Amazon. The audio files have passed the initial validation process and have been submitted for final approval. That process can take anywhere from two weeks to 30 days. The goal is to have the audio ready for release by Father’s Day.

Finally, I’m about twenty pages short of completing the first revision of the Misfire Customer Care Handbook. Woo Hoo!

I have a new respect for revisions. Especially, knowing how hard it is to communicate a concept or idea clearly and concisely the first time. Updating that material with the intent of saying it better — saying it differently — is daunting! Trying to do that for close to 140 pages is almost painful! Nevertheless, I’m almost done with the first pass and I’m satisfied the material is solid. More about that as I get closer to a release.

By the way, if there is anyone out there interested in serving as a volunteer reader for the handbook please let me know. Getting it right is really important to me and that means harvesting as much feedback as possible.
