Kidding around, I’d say it was to see what I had to say and that isn’t altogether a false statement. You can’t appreciate what just transpired while you are deep in the process of being interviewed. Especially, if the interviewer was on point. What does that mean? It means helping the subject of the interview shine. Helping them express their ideas clearly and concisely.
Janeane is that kind of host. Gentle. Curious. Interested. And, fully engaged in the interview.
I was amazed at just how much ground we covered during the twenty-five minutes we spent together. Subjects that ranged from Misfire: What to Do When Things Aren’t Running on All Cylinders to a discussion of John Keller, intrinsic motivation, and the ARCS model – Attention/Relevance/Confidence/Satisfaction. From working remotely to finding remote work.
All in all, I’m proud of the result. A solid twenty-five minutes spent exchanging information. I hope you’ll take a few minutes out to take a look and a listen and judge how we did for yourself. Most of all, let me know how you liked it. If you did, share it with your contacts through your social network. If you didn’t, share it with me along with your suggestions of how we could have done better.ARCS modelintrinsic motivationjaneane bernsteinJohn Kelleroutside the box
